Across a 20-year career in the visual arts, I’ve had the privilege of running a gallery in central London, collaborating with international charities on community arts projects, and teaching sessions for some of the UK’s leading fine art institutions, including the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins.
In recent years, my professional practice has focused more on education and community projects. I regularly teach sessions for Contemporary Art Academy and offer consultancy and mentoring to both practising artists and arts organisations of all sizes.
Over the years I've been lucky enough to work with galleries and museums across the country, write about the art world for research projects and magazines, and work on major exhibitions by some of my favourite artists. I've also worked as an art technician, sold works into international collections, and even ran a market stall.
Alongside my own photographic and professional practice, I recently curated DOCUMENT NOW, a major survey of contemporary documentary photographers in 2024 (sponsored by OM System), and organised the international touring exhibition MEMORIES CARRIED, featuring 30 photographers (in collaboration with Art Forward and Amnesty International UK).
